False ceiling
PCGI walkable false ceiling
The PCGI walkable false ceiling is made of 60 mm or 80 mm thick sandwich panels, covered with 6/10 mm thick pre- painted flat galvanized metal sheet and insulated with rigid polyurethane foam, fire reaction class B-s2-D0 (UNI EN 13501-1).
The panels have a standard width of 1m while the length is customizable according to the technical specifications of the project.
The joint between the panels is made by means of a visible male-female joint system; aluminum rails are provided on the top of the panel necessary for anchoring, which is done by means of adjustable threaded bars fixed directly to the ceiling or to an existing metal structure of the building.
The fitting of diffusers, filters and lighting fixtures happens through the realization of custom-made cut outs to be made during the installation phase. The inspection of the systems happens from the top of the false ceiling avoiding the shutdown of the production cycle in the cleanroom.
